Cerberus Gate is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

Data Controller

Cerberus Gate is the data controller for the personal data we collect through our website and services.

Personal Data We Collect

• Email address and name (from Clerk authentication)
• Usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit)
• Scan-related data (domains you scan, results generated – stored only for your account)

Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active + 90 days after deletion (for legal & backup purposes)
• Scan results: Retained for 12 months after last access or until you delete them
• Logs & analytics: Retained for 12 months

Your GDPR Rights

You have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to be informed
• Right of access
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object
• Rights related to automated decision-making (we do not use automated decisions with legal effects)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@cerberusgate.taise.tech. We will respond within one month (extendable to three months in complex cases).

International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA (e.g., US-based cloud providers). We use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with our processors to ensure your data is protected.

Data Breaches

In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, we will notify the affected users and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where required under GDPR.
